power drain from stereo ?

I noticed today when i turned up the volume on my stereo ( no amps or subs yet, just pioneer head and 6 1/2's). my lights inside would blink and stuff when bass would hit ,,, is my battery going deal , or my alternator bad or something ? i dont have any underdrive pulleys or anything so it cant be from that drain,,, maybe a belt is going bad or is loose and its not turning on the alternator right ??? or do i just need a better battery ?

I doubt you'll need a new battery if you are just running deck power. What is the volume number at when you turn it up to where your lights dim? What is the condition of your battery?

Did you have it professionally installed?

I would definately have it checked out.

I don't know about "professional" installation at Worst Buys, but I would definately take it back to them to see whats up with it. They do have a lifetime warranty on their installs...
