Me? I like to ground my amps right into my gas tank. I drill right in, make alotta sparks, and then ground 'em right there.

Aren't you worried about water getting to that exposed wiring?

That is like saying aren't you worried about your car getting wet if you drive it in the rain?

That is a GROUNDING point, not a power source.

getting that ground wet where chris has it shouldn't be an issue. if anything you can smear some dielectric grease on it to prevent the terminals from oxidating.

i grounded mine in the spare tire well.

No issues at all with that grounding point. It is well lubed with dielectric grease. That is actually an old pic and before lubing.

OhOhMax...i am aware it is a grounding point, I was talking purely about the wires getting wet and corroding not shorting out...

Thanks for the response Filtor and Ascendant. I like that spot, makes for some good clean wiring.

No problem. If you are worried about corrosion, either use shrink wrap or dielectric greace and cover any exposed wire.

Im going to steal his reply since I know the answer ...

One of the rubber grommets on the left hand side of the trunk floor....one that already had factory wires running through it...kind of near the wheel well. youll see it if you look.

[offtopic]
Im awake at 4 am procrastinating/writing a 10 page paper due at noon. nothing like the last minute.
