how do i hook an amp to a Headunit without a subwoofer (non fader) pre amp out?

how do i hook an amp to a Headunit without a subwoofer (non fader) pre amp out?
I needed a double din DVD player and it doesn't have a sub woofer pre amp outs only 2 (front and rear) outputs but i need those to hook tot he factory amp so will it be ok if i hook a line converter the speaker wires (since they are not going to be used) and hook it to the subwoofer's amp
also if i do that will the subs still pound

Its dependent on the output voltage of the line converter. If its too low, then your amp may not have sufficient gain to compensate. I really doubt it though...
