Bose headunit question. Yes another one and of course I searched.

This is for my wifes car and we are keeping it stock, so skip the get rid of the Bose crap. I know it's crap but we are getting rid of the car soon and I need it to work.

Here's the problem: it is sending power to different speakers, and not at the same time. Everytime I hit a bump a different speaker will kick on. This is a problem with the headunit correct? Is this something I can fix, or do I need to replace it with another one? If it were an aftermarket system that was installed I would simply pull it and lok for the loose connection, but this 'system has never been touched. Everything is stock.

Thanks in advance.

Poor Fred, you suck at teh search.

Use the method if you have a 5.5gen 6 CD indash.

Or you could just buy another used OEM headunit for relatively cheap and replace it, but yes it's in the headunit.

btw, you should just get rid of the Bose crap.

This is for our 4th Gen, but the instrutions should basically work the same. Thank you. I am not going to go through all of that trouble just to temporarily fix it though. I think I am just going to comb the FS ads and try to find another Bose radio that is working properly. What a piece of ****.
