This is correct and .1 is in reference to one source, not one driver. If that were the case then 5.1 would consist of 6 total drivers not sources.

I understand his standing, but also his confusion. If I had multiple subs scattered around my hatch area I would agree. However 2,3,4,etc on the same plane playing the same range would still be considered one source or a ' .1 '

lol....man, i remember back in the day when Don and Manny started the 8" project in Maxima doors, they used some brand I never heard of....now they changed the way we upgrade music. Nobody uses 6.5's anymore lol....including me

you mean to tell me people are putting bigger then 8s in the doors that call for 6.5??? man im lost in the audio world!

Do they fit, or do you have to do some custom work?? Not a newb to car audio. Just a newb to Maxima car audio. At least I'm trying to learn.
