Some help with my system

SO i have a 98 maxima gle and i did full sound system install and i have eclipse avn6620 as my dash and i have 4 6.5" 3way eclipse speakers powered by a phoenix gold 4chan amp and then in the trunk i have a 12" sound stream sup with a soundstream mono amp. But I dont hear my bass as much as i would like to and i dont want to add another sub as it will be more weight. Before when i had the setup without having a 2nd amp to my speakers i could hear the bass really nice and it would shake my car, should i just reduce the speaker amp? or what do i do?
thanks,
chris

for the four channel you would have to set the amp to hpf so no low notes go through it as for the monoblock check the gain if not your probably not matting the impedenance correctly. how do you have the amps mapped out and ill tell you your problem.

you have two sets of 3-ways? Why? Just need one for the fronts....any more really worsens your sound.

i put the gain up on the mono amp but the 4chan amp i see where it has two options for frequency and some more options that i can also adjust but if i adjust both frequency, that will control how much power i give to the speakers correct? so lower the frequence the lower the speaker sound is correct?

the frequency has nothin to do with the power the speakers are seeing.
the filters just keep unwanted frequencies from getting to speakers that dont handle that range of frequency

hpf for ur tweeters, mids

lpf for ur subwoofer

What model # is the bass amp? What model is the sub? How many ohms is the sub? What is the model # of the 4 ch amp? All of this is needed to understand what your equipment is and what is best settings. 1 good 12" sub with a good quality amp is more than enough most of the time, but you just need to set it up right - that goes for just about anything. I will do my best to help (as many others here will also) but need more info.

id say you need to tune both amps to see where they blend together to your liking. mess with the gains on both amps but as other members posted make sure your using the hpf on your interiors and the lpf for your sub. pics could also help to see where your settings are at and another member could possiby help you out that way.
