Left side of AC control won't light up...

2001 SE.
I did some work behind the dash (hooking up an ipod control) and now the left side of my AC control won't light up at night. The right side is fine. I checked all the connections and everything looks good.

Could a short have burned out the light or something?

I don't think it's a smacking issue. I think I either burned the bulb out or pulled a wire or something.

Look back there and see if you accidentally disconnected a connector.

Checked that out, nothing looks disconnected. I wonder if maybe one of the wires is pulled out of the connector just enough to make it not work because they all look connected...

That is a possibility!! I remember last year sometime my 03 Max threw a code for the IAT/MAF. After further investigation, I found one of the wires on the MAF pulled out of the pin in the connector. Like I said, quite a possibility. Another possibility is that you could just have some blown bulbs. Shouldn't be fuses b/c I would assume that none of them would work. Good luck!!
