AMP Question?

I have a Fosgate P500.2, Is there any relays in the amp? i really dont want to pull the cover because its pretty new, I notice when its cold and i turn it on i hear a "servo sound" like the steering on a RC car, after while it goes away, the amp works fine and is wired with 2 gauge wire.Others have said it could be a relay under the dash on the pass side, but all i could find is the blower motor one, i hear it even with the motor off, The amp is under the Pass seat.

Never heard of that before either. Are you sure its not your CD player? It sorta makes the same sound.

I worked at Rockford for a little bit as a repair tech, and if its not anything with your car (motors, relays, etc.) It sounds as if its the amps transformer buzzing. Quick fix that works requires opening up the amp, if its new enough, send it in for warrantee repair, and they will most likely replace the transformer all together.

I need a wire diagram for a 01 max stereo system.

Iam still having this issue, its definitly comming from somewhere behind the glove box, Only when the headunit is on, its squealing and it does it with turn signals, heater, rear defrost, ive noticed once it finally kicks in the lights dim like a surge like something is engaging, then they come back to normal lvl.
