installing a remote starter and have a couple of questions please help
car is a 2001 maxima
1. for the door locks does this car have a positive or negative trigger
2. there is a wire is says "Factory security rearm signal output" what is this
for the description is: This out put is programmable, if programmed it can rearm a factory installed security system.
and also something about grounding it with a switch, so is this just a ground or what...
3. Another wire called "dual pulse door unlock output" i got a my cars wiring diagram and there's only lock and unlock noting about the pulse thing
i have installed systems before but it was on a 93 mercedes and a 95 ford wasn't this complicated
also the starter is a BUlldog DELUX 200, yea i know it sux but gets the work done and got it for free
thanks

1. negative
2. ignore this wire, car arms and disarms with lock and unlock
3. Yes you need to turn on double pulse unlock.
Id suggest a better unit, that bulldog will fail in less than a month. and the range is worse than stock.
good luck!
