Every noob deserves his own birthday thread.

Speaking of install mules....I'm out of the big box. Working at a tiny *** shop called MCOR Automotive which does audio/video, tint, detailing, and used car sales. Going to hopefully take their audio side to a bit higher level than what they were pushing.

Yep. Both the owner and general manager were master techs at ford, owner was a shop foreman sick of being 'married' to the dealer as he says. So here I am. He's got a tint guy, a detail guy, me doing installs, and the general manager fixing the used cars to resell or helping me on installs. I can actually build a reputation now for the shop...without being in quicksand like at cc.

Give it time. I've been there a week. Going to do a few big mainstream systems for cheap labor to get word of mouth spread first. The owner is all about pushing JL/TMA right now since the JL name brings people in the door, but was pretty damn frustrated when a guy with a brand new GTO came in with ebay price sheets for the TMA 4ch and mono amps. lolz.

Ive gotta get the shop to crawl before it can walk though.

So are we still a tiny *** shop? I guess since you are working until only 8:30pm on $4k jobs you need a little more work. I'll see what I can do about that...

No seriously, Kevin has done a great job and plugged in right where we needed him. He probably thought he was safe from his "boss" here. I have eyes everywhere!!!

Hurry back from vacation. This "tiny *** shop" will have a ton of work waiting for you upon your return!

Why am I being e-stalked...Matt, I guess you have too much time on your hands too?

There was nothing here I need to hide, and nothing was meant in a negative way. The shop has crawled and is walking, now I just need to get the displays built. Hint though, JL isn't going to get much love around here when our friendly moderator carries the brands he does

Thanks for the 3-month late bday wishes Nilesh

Oh, Don, I haven't really been in his ear about too much.

But speaking of that, did you have to approve through DEI doing the group deal here for the prices you did? or just say fukc em?
