kicker l7 15 in a max?

ok here's the deal my buddy gave me a l7 15" subwoofer for christmas since he got a new truck and system. I want to put it in the Max in a 5 cubic ft sealed box but have no idea how to get this in the trunk. i am toying with the idea of building it in but that seems like a pain in the ***. I want as much space between the trunk and speaker as possible. Unless someone has a better idea???

i dunno about putting a 5 cu. ft. box in the trunk, but I have seen a fellow fit a single 15" L7 in a probox in the trunk of a 5th gen......food for thought

5 cu. feet?? No way!!

I had a 15" L7 and I took it to my friend who builds boxes and it was extremely difficult to get even 2.5 cu. ft.I ended up selling mine.Sell yours buy a 12" in a 2-3 cu. ft. box with 1000 watts and you'll be more than happy!!

Keep in mind if you decide to go thru with this, the L7's need alot of air.Dont try to skimp on the box, you'll be sorry.

I fit ~4 cubes in my trunk

there is absolutely no chance you will build a 5 cubic foot box unless you fiberglass every exterior wall of your trunk and literally take up the whole thing....

ok heres what i think might work. i am going to build it in. i am ging t have to take out the back seat so i can work from both sides. going to make the box in two peices and assemble it in the trunk and then put the sub in after its built. i think i'll have about 16" to the back of the trunk. i'll start tomarrow and get sme pics on here
