CD Player Woes...

Today I replaced the battery in my car. There was a CD in the head unit (JVC) at the time. When I reconnected the battery it refused to recognize that there is a CD inside it and won't eject it. I have a feeling it will accept one and play it if I can get the CD out in the first place. Any thoughts on how I would go about doing this?

Hold down both the Power and Sel (select) buttons at the same time for 4-5 seconds. Post back with results.

Didn't do anything, but I disconnected the battery again for a half hour or so and when I reconnected it the CD player played the CD...Go figure.
