Adding Subs and amp

I have a 6th gen. 2004 max. se with bose. Can i add an aftermarket amp and subs to my current stock audio setup. And if so has anyone done this and how.

It's really easy with bose, you already have a low level output going to the bose amps, conver that to rca's and there you have your signal. Add power ground and remote and you are all set.

ok soo. where do you splice the rcas. and where can i get the remote signal from ? do i need to pull the radio to get to the back ?
