im looking into buying the avic- n4 is there anything i should know aout this if someone in here has it ? i dont think im gonna get the d3 i hered the navi on it is not to on point and i dont thing u can detach face ... plzz somebody help me choose

 

i have a avic d2, and the only thing better about the d3 IMO is that the d3 plays DVD, and has bluetooth capability. since i'm not into talking/listening on the phone through my car speakers, i care not for this feature. the d3 has a single slot for cd/dvd, and dvd navigation. which means when you wanna navigate, you have to take out your favorite movie, insert navigation cd (if you had it in a safe place and its not scratched up) to find your way around. really dumb since its a double din and the space for a seperate cd slot is there. only benefit to the n4 is you would get a more updated map, and detachable face. i would suggest saving up, and just gettin either the Z1, z2, or better yet the Z3 which can be had for under a $1000, not from pioneer though, they still charging close to that for the damn D3.
