Where to mount amp on 2007 maxima

I was wondering if there is a possible way of mounting an amp on the rear deck so that I don't have to mount it to the back of the rear seats? Please help me with other mounting locations so that I can keep my trunk looking stock.

You should be able to mount it where the bose amp would go. You might need to make a mounting bracket for it. I would suggest taking it in to a custom stereo shop to get an idea of where to put it. They can suggest a place for it. Maybe even make you a bracket pretty cheap. Hope this helped.

It did. Unfortunately I have the stock system, so the amp that comes with it is small. I will be putting in a JL A6450 (it's a heavy S.O.B.) to power all of my speakers.

Also, where is the best place to run the 4 gauge power cable through the firewall? (I have a grommet incase I have to drill through the firewall).
