Subwoofer Comes out box...

So I found that the car had a little smell and I checked the subs. One of the subs (in which the smell came from) has a few screws comeing out so some of the sub is exposed to air. When i tried to screw it in, they won't tighted so the MDF is spoiled. What should I do to tighten it back up, just bigger screws? Or is there another procredure?

Turn the sub a little bit and re-screw it in.

If it was smelling there's a good chance it is blown/partially blown or close to it.

I'd be willing to bet a fair percentage of subs you see tilted in installs are the fix of stripped screws. Lol. I've done it a couple times in my early box building days. You could leave the screws out and call it a "dot ported" box. But I agree tilted is the quicker fixer upper. What kind of sub?

Oi, if there is a smell, you might have a bigger problem. I would take the sub out and take a good look to see if anything looks damaged.
