This is the 3rd and final one of these to go in my Maxima. I don't know what it is about these amps, but they are sexy as hell to me and they have served me well so far.

I have alot of work to do on the asthetics in the trunk yet, and when I get my other TC2K, I will be building another box with my new table saw. I have to find some place to re-locate the distro block to, which is going to be difficult considering I have a false floor in there and I would rather not re-do all the power wires for everything. Hopefully I can find a spot for it.

All I need now is my other TC2K! Its in the mail

 

nice... looks like you have lots of work ahead of you... but you have already completed so much.

 

Meh - the work is half the fun for me. I finally found a setup I really like, so I think I will be keeping it this way for a while. Once I get the the other sub, I'll throw it in the box I have and see how it all sounds. I will have to build a final box that will let me fit all the amps in there where I want them, as well as let me tune a little higher/keep the same port length/widen the port opening a little. I'm going to see how it sounds w/ both 12's in ther first though.

I also am going to have to wire up a rely, as this will be the 4th amp that the 9887 will be trying to turn on. I usually only run 2 off the HU, but I tried 3 and it seems to be ok. I'm not going to try and push my luck with 4 though...
