Thin-line subs needed - Dodge Mega-cab

JL "Thin-lines" / RFP3SD212 / Kicker

My brother just bought a new Dodge 3500 Mega Cab, and is in need of some thin line sub woofers. I was wondering if anyone has had any experience or recommendations on the above drivers(or other good thin-line subs) for either behind or underneath the rear seat of his hew truck.

The drivers can be no deeper than 6" total, and he has room for about 1^ft per driver. He can only run 2, and is partial to 12's as well. He will be looking for primarily a loud, low-reaching driver but it cannot sound sloppy. The truck is brand new with no audio equipment in it whatsoever, so at this point, we are not worried about matching amps to them - amps will come next.

Any suggestions?

^ May be a little out of his price range, but right now I would just like to hear about everything so I have a comparison. Thanks for the input.

12" Stereo Integrity Mag. It's fairly shallow, will work perfect in 1 cubes. It's also VERY accurate.

Will it get fairly low in the 1' box? I am not looking for an SPL windshield-breaker, but he listens to rap musix and he is coming from 2 Kicker CVR 15"s in ported box w/750wrms each.

it'll get fairly low yes. but it won't be anywhere as loud as those ported 15s, but i can promise you it will sound a lot cleaner. it's one of the most accurate subs i've heard to date. my buddy got one in his xB. 1 cubes sealed, fed 900 watts.

He can also do 4 Sundown audio 8's with an 1000wrms amp and i do believe he can do them ported with that much displacement if he wanted too...

kicker and mtx also have a line of thin subs. As long as you stick with a name brand it will sound good
