I have an Alpine CDA 7893. I also have a Sirius Stiletto in my 92 maxima. Both of these were used in my 95 maxima until recently when I put my audio stuff into my 92. Well....its not working. I hooked it up the same way that I did in my 95. I am getting power, the Stiletto turns off and on as the ignition is switched on or off. I can navigate through stations, and it will display what is currently being played...but nothing comes through the speakers. All I get is a static sound similar to a dead radio station. What would cause this?

I have the FM transmitter turned off on my stiletto since it is being routed though the AUX port. As for how I have the AUX hooked up, I have it hooked up at the Ai-Net port, I have an alpine connector hooked to the Ai-Net side which turns into RCAs, from that point I have a monster cable RCA to mini plug adaptor, and that is what hooks to my Stiletto docking station. So I am stumped. The radio works, I can play it in my boombox and I also have docking stations in my other cars and it works fine in those? What would cause this? I don't think I would have killed my Ai-Net connection just from switching cars? Any help would be appreciated.

 

I varified that the AUX is turned on.

Does anyone have any ideas on this?
