Aftermarket XM receiver using stock antenna...Anyone?

Since the stock head unit is so terrible in funtionality and display I am looking to install an aftermarket receiver and would like to tie into the stock antenna to maintain a clean look. Has anyone attempted this on a 6th gen? Any information would be greatly appreciated!

Not going to be much help but I know DON was able to use his XM antenna from his Chevy Trailblazer SS with the Audiovox Universal Xm Tuner with his Eclipse Headunit. He did have to run a new antenna for the Kenwood. It's a chance you can take..worst that could happen is that you'd have to run a new antenna (obviously)

Depends what brand you get. Some will work, others wont. As stated above, you'll have to find out, then worst case run a new one. Keep it inside the vehicle if your worried about cosmetics.
