Amp + Sub question

I just got a RF Punch 160A used from a friend, and I'm wondering what kind of sub would be good for the amp.

JL Audio 10W0. Check one out at a Tweeter. They are tight and pound pretty well for the price you pay.

Thats cool, but I was wondering how much a 10W6 or 10W7 would cost. Does anybody know?

Retail wise the JL 10W0's are $99.99 each, The JL 10W3's are $179.99 each and the JL 10W7's are $550.00 a piece. You will need a much stronger amp than your Rockford to run the W3's or W7's. Stick with the W0's.

Would you reccomend a 10W0 or a Rockford sub? Or is there a better sub for the price? I'm looking for tight bass, not crazy bass.

I'm currently running the new Xtant "A" series subs (A1040) and they are built in a custom downfire sealed box and the bass is nice and tight the way I like it. Your Rockford would run these as well. They normally retail for $119.99 each and handle more power than a 10W0. Let me know if you are interested...
