How to bypass Bose wires for 95 Maxima

Got tired of my old Bose HU And went out and got myself a Jensen VM9312 I also went ahead and bought me the wiring harness to make things more easier.

Now I'm having problem connecting the aftermarket radio I tried the yellow red and black wires from the new harness I bought and for some weird reason only the power button lights up but when I press it the HU lights up for split second and just shuts off and does it back all over again. I went over to a friends house to see if it was the radio so we hooked it up to his car and it works perfect but when it comes to my car nothing works is it because I have a bose system? I heard this thing is a ***** to get by. So im ready to just go straight to the bose wires and start splicing but i cant seem to find the batt acc and ground wires does someone here tell me the color codes. Or atleast point me out to the right direction?

I don't recall if I answered your questions in another thread prior to this post, but...

DON'T splice directly to OEM harness. It's likely because either the antenna isn't hooked up or you didn't ground the HU directly to chassis.

Aren't you supposed to ground to the chassis (like djfrestyl suggested)?

Who are you directing your question to? The answer is yes, which is quite obvious since I stated it...

Sounds like you just fried your radio. Maybe you should look into the right way to connect a radio.
