checklist for audio install

I will be installing a single din stereo instead of the Blows, just want to make sure I am not forgetting anything. I was thinking of getting a PAC but decided that I don't really care for it. Let me know if I am forgetting anything.

1)headunit-jvc kd-r900(bluetooth,ipod control built in---5v preamp outputs)
2)harness-Metra 70-7551
3)single din dash kit, not sure if I should get a Metra(99-7416) or the new Scosche(NN1648B) or the old Scosche(NN1494B)
4)do I need an antenna adapter?

2) Assuming you have Bose?
3) Your call. GXE looks best but costs the most.
4) Yes.
5) Butt connectors or solder
6) Other install supplies - electrical tape, zip ties, etc.

If you can afford it, GXE (It's about $120). If you can't, Scosche.

Any recommendation for the speaker mounts? I just got some new speakers for front and rear, 6.5", and I'm wondering the best way to get them to fit on my 2000 SE.
