Polk db651

What are y'alls opinions on these speakers? I am looking at a budget setup and I have always heard good things about Polk. They will not be amped and will be powered by a 50x4 Kenwood.

I have those in the rear deck with a set of 6501 in the front with the cross over set to -3db. The rear are a little brighter. So far I like the sound from them and they are crisp. I also used some hushmat on the rear deck and I think that really helps.
Oh my setup is amped and I am running one of the rainbow amps that don sells. Ipaul 4.300 hope that helps you out.

And for 59 bucks that's pretty much a steal of a deal I think.

Thanks man, I am actually thinking about putting them in my boat. They are rated for marine use. I am not worried about amping these because I am going to amp the speakers on the wakeboard tower.

I've got Polk MOMO's in my wife's Altima, and they are very good speakers for the money.

And if not the DB's, what would you think about these?

Those Polk Mobile Monitor series replaced the MOMO series. As I stated, I have the MOMO's in my wife's car, and they are very nice speakers. I would not hesitate to buy the Mobile Monitors if/when I'm in the market again. On a side note, If you are going to purchase from Crutchfield (little pricey, but the best customer service around), hit me up with a PM, I'm sure I've got a referral code to save you a little $.

Thanks, I didnt realize he product number MM stood for MOMO. It all makes sense now. know crutchfield is a bit pricey. I have already found those speakers for about 50 bucks cheaper.
