I had a pair of dx 6x9s over the summer. Nice low end. Polk is about on par with infinity. Some people prefer Infinity, some prefer Polk. Both VERY good products for the money. The one thing I liked more about Polk is the little things (I'm comparing to Inifinity, I had a pair of comps too in my setup). Polk included stuff like designs for cutouts and made an overall sturdier product. Infinity used a pretty horrible housing for the crossover (and this was on the Kappas) and the mounting hardware for the tweeters was bad to say the least.

Anyway, Polk is a great company. They make a darn good sound for the average Joe that isn't going to shell out $500 for a damn pair of speakers like MB Quart does (among others).

I have dx components in my front doors. The best part about these speakers is that I didn't have to modify anything to get them to fit. They fit almost like OEM.

if you need MB Quarts I can sell for really good price! They are a little bit more precise then polk, although I like Polk personaly.

I have Polk speakers in my home theater setup--very good sounding speakers. I'm not sure how their car audio sounds, but I'm sure they relatively sound just as fantastic as their home audio setup!
