I was just wondering how you guy's are installing your double din's into your 6th gen maximas? Are you modding the factory face plate or has anyone found an install kit to assist in the installation?

 

you'll need the metra dash kit for our cars. unfortunately there's no double din option, so you'll have to cut out the cd pocket from the kit to make room for your double din radio.

 

Is there going to be any issue with the Climate control and all the other stuff the OEM radio does? Im also wanting to do this.

 

No issue. Buy the Metra kit (it's about $40-$50) and transfer the control panels over. Then go to down with a dremel
