single din peeps in here

I was thinking to line the pocket with a thick fabric, so I can put my sunglasses or phone in there without it getting scratched, and without rattles. What I don't know is where to buy fabric and what kind of glue to use in order to bond fabric with plastic. I was thinking of using some thick black suede, something durable and decent looking.

Has anyone done this, where do I shop?

thanks, I found the adhesive I need(3m 77) and I got some fabric off eBay. I will wrap some foam in the fabric and stuff it in the pocket, this way if I screw up I will not need my pocket replaced and I will have more cushion to put my phone or glasses on to

The heavy duty spray 3m adhesive is good for that kinda thing if you wanted to upholster it.
