fuses keep blowing

fuses keep blowing

the fuse near my battery keeps blowin do i need a bigger fuse, im currently using a 60a fuse with a 4 gauge wire rockford fosgate p5002 brigded with a crewin vega 124 12" sub ported

what happens when the fuse blows, are you playing music, are you stressing the amp?

the reason I ask is to make sure you do not have a short before upgrading the fuse.

first the two on the amp would blow then the fuse near the battery would blow, all this while music is playing, i check the power cable its seemed fine, wut else should i check

Agreed, up the amperage on the fuse. But if the ones on the amp itself are blowing, sounds like a wiring issue.

i have no clue y i cant get my system to work, now the problem is if i turn the gain **** on my amp i dont hear anything from the sub until its turn more than half way then my amp goes into protect but it doesnt feel hot like its overheating, it also does this with the gain real low. even with the gian and evereything turned down if i go pass 20 on my volume my amp goes into protect.

Absolutely sounds like a wiring issue on how the sub is wired.

it a dual voice coil and i wired it to use all the voice coils

In parallel? In series? For that amp you need a final 4 ohm load hen bridging.
