Maxima CD player not taking any CD

Maxima CD player not taking any CD
Good evening
I have Nissan maxima 2002 and I have problem with the CD player since last month I cannot enter any CD to the CD player
I have the original maxima CD player
Usually I put the CD half way then the CD player will take it in …but now this is not happening ….
hope you can guide me with this, thanks in advance for the help you can give me
