I have a 1990 with original Bose system.
The passenger front speaker started to make static noise.
Removed it and system works good excetp for one less speaker.

Question is do I need to replace the amp with one of same year and make????
Would one from a newer bose system work????

I've seen pictures of Bose amps that look different from the one I have.
