I'm about to install a aftermarket radio in my 2K1 SE without Bose system. I am going over the color-coded wires of the wire harness and it say that the black wire is for ground. However, the ground wire for the radio says it should be connected to the car chassis.

Is it ok to connect the ground wire from the wire harness to the to the ground wire from the aftermarket radio?

 

I usualy connect all grounds to a clean chassis ground.
