replacing bose system ?

Ok so im wanting to replace my bose system with aftermarket speakers. My question is do i need to run new speaker wires to the doors and rear or can i use the ones that are already there (minius amps ) ? Do i have to change my Metra harness or will it still work ? I search and got nothing so i figured id ask the audio Gurus !
Thanks in advance !

the best thing to do is run new wire the bose wire is super thin and probably pretty brittle being 14 years old. what harness are u using the 70-7550 or the 7551 with the rca's?

i would just get another adapter like the 7550 u dont need to convert the signal to low level anymore as u are using after market speakers. just run all the speaker wires to the radio end of the harness, just tape off the bose speaker leads at the doors. heres one for ya $6.95 shipped http://cgi.ebay.com/NISSAN-1995-2007...item5d282c633d
