mtx or xplod

mtx or xplod

what would be better. 2 10" mtx thunder 4000 series subwoofers or 2 12" LS1235 sony xplod subs? (i'm a bass head) I can get both for about 100 or so from a friend. (brand new). It'll be powered by a 600 watt kenwood amp. Thanks in advance

MTX. I always avoid anything with the word Sony on it.

MTX 4000s are OK. But i think some thunder 8000s will be ALOT better.

WHY????? It's a pretty nice peice. Other than it's had a few probs and you can't replace it anymore.
