Question about my x-over, amp, and fade

Hi- I have a MTX rt-100 ( i think that the model number). Any way its a simple x over. one input and then 2 out puts, one for the mid/highs and the other for the sub. I want to run the rear speakers off the head unit, and the front speakers off the amp/x-over. If I set the fade on the head unit to +2 because I like a little more front bias will it still work right. I hope I made my question clear. Thanks for your info.

Yeah, that'll work. Just make sure that you wire the rear fill into the rear speaker outputs of the HU.
