Rear Backup Camera-Eclipse

Hey all,
Just wondering if I need a backup camera specifically for my Eclipse 6620 unit or can I just use a generic one from Ebay? The one for Eclipse is about 220 and its discontinued. I think I can find one but I'd rather not pay 220 for it. Thanks!

A-

As far as I know most Eclipse headunits have to use an Eclipse camera. I do remember seeing somewhere on the net an adaptor though. It plugs into the back of the headunit and gives you a video in.

That adapter was Eclipse's best kept secret, but it does exist. I have used it many times !

Do you care to share Don? I can't seem to find anything close to it. All I'm finding are Ipod adapters.
