Please help with Bose??

So I was driving yesterday and my Sound started cutting out as far as Interiors and then finally went out completely. Funny part is subs still on. Head unit is on.

Also its a 97 gle stock bose with RCA adapter in trunk for amp signal to subs.

Any ideas.

If you replace your Bose HU with aftermarket, it will make your existing Bose system sound better, by a significant margin. Start with a HU only. Contrary to popular belief, you CAN replace the head unit only without having to replace or rewire the rest of the system.

Then start investigating. Is it your amp? Is it your wiring? Is it something on the circuit board inside the radio? Who knows. If you can't get a new HU, then be ready to roll up your sleeves.
