Which MP3 Headunit?

Dang, I so wanted the JVC SH99 that I've heard so much about... But unfortunately, the Best Buy I work is out of stock and it doesn't look like we'll get them in anytime soon. I really wanna get in a new headuint ASAP (haven't really had time to shop around to replace the stock cassette one so far).

So the only choices I have left are: (they're my only choices only because I want to take advantage of my discount)
Sony Xplod CDX-MP450
Rockford Fosgate RFX9000
Aiwa CDCMP32 (?)
Jensen MP3510

After doing a bit of reading around, it seems like the Rockford is the best choice out of all those. Anybody else have any suggestions or actually own any of them? Thanks for any input.

How much is your discount? I bet if you bought online the price would be the same. www.etronics.com has the SH-99 for CHEAP. By the way I have had the SH-99, Alpine 7875, and Clarion DX715. My personal opinion the JVC sounded better. etronics ships my stuff out ground but I recieve it in three days. Very good service.

id rather buy with a warranty on things made by JVC .. my friends JVC deck has nice sticky/broken buttons now, ****es him off.

(i bought w/ warranty on my Kenwood Z828 ..)

are those your only options? id try another JVC dealer if so...

My discount is pretty big. I can get either the Sony or the Rockford (which we sell for like a little over 300 each) for like 200 and change. I only checked employee prices for those two cause the guy there said the Aiwa and Jensen ones sucked. But this RF model I believe doesn't come with a remote controller... so the 9300 is better... dang... yet another negative.
As for the warranty, Best Buy offers a very good service plan, IMO. We can basically abuse the machines and Best Buy will repair or replace them as many times as you need as long as the plan is valid. So I'm not worried about any of them breaking down.
The good news is that we've just made a deal to start carrying Kenwood products, and I hear the Kenwood mp3 HU is pretty good...
ARGH! I think it's best for me to have a little more patience at least til the new year rolls in. Hopefully we'll either get the JVC back in or at least get the Kenwood one... Any reviews on the Kenwood ones?

Worse comes to worse, I may just have to get the JVC from elsewhere.

I have the Jensen MP5010K and it's been great for the nearly 3 weeks I've had it, got it for $200 + $12 shipping. I would highly recommend it!

HIGHLY

highly recommend u get the RioCar if cash permits.

It's much better than any POS that has to have its MP3's burned into CD's. Why bother???

i ordered the JVC KD-SH99 off of this site. i got it for chrsitams today and installed it. everything is there so its a good site. its also $289 and not $400. Also if you do this i recommend going to Wal-Mart and picking up a wiring harness(so you wont have to cut wires) for about $5.

here is the site... http://www.etronics.com/product.asp?...99&SVBName=215

I like the look of the black face& stealth over the silver and detachable anyway.
