power wire not getting power some times.
i took it back to shop who installed it and they said its getting power and i said well it gets power then i get down the road and it turns amp off. i bought new amp and same problem then he says i need to upgrade my fuse holder and wanted 40 bux to get me a 200 amp one from a 80amp fuse. will this really cause the wire to loose power?
i put my own wire and can bass all day on it no problems the one they installed is a fat 4 gauge red wire.

You're talking about power directly from the battery is having the problem, not the remote start wire, right?
Got to be around some of the connections somewhere, at the fuse block, right on the battery, check for corrosion under the hood.
Are you certain it's not the remote start wire that's failing to signal the amp on? And double check all the ground connections as well.
You know, a little more detail about the setup would help if you're looking for suggestions.

im talking about the fat positive wire from battery to amp. the remote and ground work fine im running a getto wire to the battery and it will bass all day. i think im gonna bypass the fuse under the hood. and no corrosion it was installed like 4 months ago and looks all clean still.
Try replacing the fuse. if your using an AGU fuse, the end caps can break off from the strip of wire in the middle. so the fuse may look intact, but is just making sporadic connections due to the cracked connection at the caps.
