Just picked up 2 JL W6's

Hey guys, I just picked up 2 10" JL W6's for a sweet deal . I want to get a custom box thats exactly specs for the subs, does anyone have or know if that box fits in the 4th gen maxima? Also should I get the JL 1000/1 amp or the 500/1 amp?

it depends on what you want. My box was like 290 but I wanted aero ports and red suede (at the time he didnt stock either so he had to order them). He's now in a shop though and has lots of stuff. Just email him. I sent you a pm

EDIT: after looking at his prices. You would be looking at around 190 shipped (if that)

So I got a box by a audio shop near my area. I have everything I need. Power, grounds, 4 fared cap, amp. Now on to the questions, Where did you guys ground your amp? Was it easy getting the rca's, and power wire through the 4th gen seat since it doesn't fold down? Any tips on my install tomorrow would be great! Thanks.

pull the seats out of the rear, it will make life easier. And for the power wire, I drilled a hold in the fire wall and ran the wire through (be sure to put a grommet in place, if you go this route). I grounded my amp in my trunk near the amp, in a pre-existing hole, be sure to sand the area down to metal for better contact

Tigersharkdude thanks for the info and your help. I removed the rubber grommet on the firewall to run the power wire. The 4 guage fit perfectly. I couldn't find any bolts in the trunk, so I grounded it to the Seatbelt bolt under the rear seats. Here are some pics of the almost finished install. I need to clean up the wires..
