Battery ?s

Currently Im runnin 2 RE SE 15s with about 2400 watts rms ..Got everything wired to 1ohm.. I was lookin to upgrade batterys (After I do the Big 3 upgrade) . Also Im on the stock alternator.. I dont have huge light dimming issues but notice that when the bass hits hard, my voltage drops to about 9 to 11 volts!

Would a kinetic HC800 be enough for my system? Or Should I go Bigger? Im not looking to run more than 1 batt but simply upgrade the one i hav.

There is no way you are dropping that low without your lights dimming. If you want that much power you will most likely need to buy a ho alternator. Adding batteries without having the right alternator to charge them isn't going to help.

9volts is pretty damn low. I'm surprised your car is still on at that point. I would recommend getting an HO alt. Getting a better battery isn't going to fix the issue.

This. And I would imagine they're doing damage to the electrical system.

i get a lil bit of dimming inside the car but no dimming of the headlights..The only time it drops to 9v is when there is a constant low low bass note..otherwise it'll drop to about 11. the cars got 120k miles on the stock alt..So i guess now would be a good time to upgrade! thanx for the feedback

I had a 200 amp alternator on my 6.5 gen from excessive amperage. Talk to Nate, he's a good guy.
