Q? for the stereo heads out there
pjalst,
The ability for a 2x50w Amp to meet your needs is reliant on a couple of things;
1) The Quality of the Amplifier that your using - the better the amp the more capable it is to perform at higher volumes even against equal power amps. Cheap amps even though rated twice the power of a name brand amp will have trouble producing half their rated power without distortion. look for the amps THD@ rated power, the lower the number the better.
2) How hard you are pushing these speakers?, I. E. if you have these
cranked to overcome 2-15" with 1200w you may want to go with a larger amp say 75-100W per channel, your front speakers are the most important for the overall sound, front stage/ rear fill.

pjalst,
PPI is a well crafted piece of gear. Are you running any rear speakers? you should have Equal or more power on your front speakers than your rear. If that is the case, it's just a matter of how loud you'll push it.
