"There simply is no replacement for displacement."

I wish I had the nerve to go that route...I need trunk space for the DD, but man, I'd love to get my teeth rattled by one of those every day...

That's what it's in now (Old box that I had for my tens 6.25 at 33hz) until I get the time to build a new one. The new box is going to be a bit extreme and will be sealed off from the trunk. I'll have the back of my backseat out unless I need to carry people. It will be 7.75 net at 30-32hz with ~110 inches of port area which is roughly 11 cubes gross, it will be big, but it will be loud and KILL the lows.

And yeah any progress on the build will be posted in here.

Btw even in the very inadequate box that it is in now it gets LOW

I hope that is a DVC (dual voice coil). Whatever you do, don't take out the spare tire and try to mount a box in or around that. I use 2 12" DVCs and I use a mono amp and a 2 farat capacitor.

If its svc it has to ride with the spare tire and you'll need twice as many farats to run it. What's so hard understand about that?

Haha I really hope this^^^ is a joke. No updates yet, contemplating many different setups. After I get my farats situated I'll update.

Well although I loved messing around with the Xcon, I had to change to something new. The Xcon just needed way too much volume and port area to really shine. So this is my NEWER toy:

Sundown Z15 v1. I've already built a 3.5 cubic foot box with 70^2 of port area tuned to 34hz, just need to hook it all up. I'll put up more pics and vids when I'm done.

I finally got the Z installed and I must say it is an awesome sounding woofer that gets stupid loud on only 900 watts. It is one of the best sounding subs I've ever heard, and I've heard a lot of subs.
