Viper Alarm

I have the Viper 479vpc and it will arm but not lock the doors. I need to manually lock them. When I hit the unlock button, the doors will unlock. Anyone had this problem or know how to fix this? Thank you

Not sue what a dmm is but the alarm seems like it is at the factory alarm(the windows roll themselves back up on their own). I have tried ever reset that I could find online but none of them seem to work. I just don't wanna have to take it back to the guy who installed it and have him pull the car around back and him charge me a crap load. For all I know he could cut some wires and say they were messed up. This is what happened...I took my car to get aligned. The guy pulled it on the ramp and calls me out there saying he locked the keys into the car. I was like how did you do it? He just said that it locked. Luckily I had a spare key. I unlocked it and of course the alarm went off. I grabbed the keys and pushed the unlocked/disarm on the key pad. After I left there I noticed the car would never lock with the alarm keys anymore.
