Crinkling sound when I turn music up loud?

I installed a JVC Xr810 about a month ago until I get the money to replace it with something better. I used Crutchfield to buy the wiring harness so it would work with the bose amp, and the antenna adapter. I have noticed that since I installed it that when I turn the volume up loud, you sort of hear this sound that sounds like crinkling a bag of chips on the parts where there is a lot of bass. So my question is, does this have to do with something I did wrong with installing it? Or is the the type of deck I got? I noticed that if I turn it up too loud and the bass is heavy, then sometimes the sound will stop completely and once another heavy bass part comes up it almost pops back in. I can't imagine its too powerful because it is a fairly cheap one. Also, my rear left speaker barely has any sound coming out. So I think it may have either been blown, or a wire back there is loose. I don't think that would have anything to do with it, but I thought i'd just throw it in there just in case.

Thanks for any help.

^^ No, the foam surrounds were torn/ripped. If a speaker is blown it doesn't function at all.
