03 factory speaker problem

I have an 03 SE with the non-Bose system. I have been getting only faint sounds from the speakers so I decided to replace the front ones (I had planned to get to the back ones later). I am now only getting full sound from the the driver's side front speaker. What gives?

No one knows? Could a wire be grounding on the frame or body somewhere?
