Subsonic Filter?
I have a MEMPHIS STUDIO CLASS D(ST250D)Subwoofer Amplifier-Specifications:Power Output(RMS 4OHM-125x1,2OHM-2501,w/Remote Gain Control
it has a Variable Subsonic Filter from 50-250hz
and the filter slope is 18db what should I set it on and what exactly is it should it be on or off?

I think you mean low pass crossover. This keeps the midds and highs from going to your subs. That way you won't hear vocals, horns, cymbals, etc. at 175 dB's. And also helps keep the soundstage up front as low frequencies are non directional. Most people will be happy setting it between 80 and 120 Hz. Those who are more critical of the soundstage and who dislike midbass coming from the front stage and the sub will set it lower. How your box is built/tuned and what music you listen to will also affect the optimal setting.
