System Is Complete Finally

I just got my Alpine Type R in tonight. It looks pretty cool. Now the only thing I'm waiting on is my friend to come home so he can put it all in. The Type R looks pretty cool, I'm gonna take some pics.

Yeah, it's a pretty sub. Do you have an enclosure for it yet?

yeah, but I'm afraid that its a little too big. If thats the case, I'm just gonna sell it to one of my friends and get another one. The place I bought it from was in the ghetto so it was only 20 bucks.

Believe it or not, the enclosure size for your sub is the same size as the Alpine Type-R box that it came in.

That's the light-weight race-spec sub enclosure.

well thats good maximadave because my box is just a little bit bigger by about half an inch. But I can always get another one because my friend was gonna buy the same one whenever he gets his Polk MOMO.

You can always adjust the current enlosure size. If you want it to be a little bit smaller, add wood blocks to the inside to decrease the internal volume, perhaps in the form of internal bracing (kill two birds with one stone). If you need a slightly larger enclosure, add fiber fill (it will fool the sub into playing like it has more airspace).
