Bose/Roem Nis2 wiring issues
Bose/Roem Nis2 wiring issues
Hey, I just got an infiniti I30 (98) and the Bose H/U is a POS
My aftermarket H/U is a POS too, but I don't want to spend any money to get another one.
After I wired it up I have no sound. I used the Pac roem Nis2 and an antenna adapter from walmart(can't remember the brand). The unit comes on, I can hear the antenna motor running. I have 6 wires from the Pac roem nis2 that did not get used.
Blue/White-Amp trigger
orange-illumination/dimmer
4 speaker wires from the low(+) side. I saw on other forums that these wires didn't need to be used.
The only other wire I have not used is one of the black wires from the factory wiring. It is a fat round plug that has 5 or 6 pins. I have not been able to figure out what this is or if I need to do anything with it.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

hi how are you doing i do installs for a living you can use a metra plug #70-7551 to do this car but your radio has to have the proper rca outputs or the metra plug#70-7550 will work if you dont have the proper rca output
Hey, I already have the Pac roem nis2. I would prefer not to spend any more $$ on another harness when the Pac should work. I just did something wrong along the way and don't know what yet. Thanks for the reply
