I have searched high and low, but found nothing on this subject, so I apologize if it has already been asked. I have searched the firewall, but it appears there is no rubber grommet to run an 8 gauge wire through for my amp. Is there a place and I just missed it? If not, where is the best place to drill a hole? I noticed a little diamond shaped cutout by the brake, but it just exposes the firewall. Would this be a good place to drill if necessary?

The grommet is behind te plastic fender lining on the driver's side, pull off the wheel and then the lining and you will see it. I have 4 guage going through so you will have no problem.

 

theres also a grommet near the fuel filter.. it comes out near your center console.
