problem with alpine and ipod in 01 non-bose

problem with alpine and ipod in 01 non-bose
I have an alpine 9856 with ipod and sirius.#1 i got the antenna adaptor and i get zero radio stationd with the alpine.#2 when using sirius or ipod i only get sound on right side but when im looking for a radio station all speakers have sound.#3 my ipod cable will no charge any ipods at all.i had this in 2 different cars and it charged all the ipods i use with it.can the cable be bad somehow? Ive never had any of these problems until i put it in this car.the bose systems are the only systems with an amp correct?

hi yes you could definately have a bad cable i might have one layting around have to check is it the one with the blue end
